Shortlisted for two First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2019
London Green has been shortlisted for both of its First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards entries!
In its 10th year, the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards celebrate the property industry’s efforts to support aspirational property buyers on their journey to home ownership. London Green is proud to have been shortlisted for the following awards:
Best Small Development – Woodrow, Woolwich
Bringing warehouse-style living to the heart of Woolwich, the development comprises a selection of 23 one and two-bedroom apartments and duplexes, offering stylish urban homes ideally suited to first time buyers. Formerly the site of Slazenger’s tennis ball production factory, Woodrow has been sympathetically redesigned to reflect its interesting history and retain the original building’s classic Victorian character, while providing quality accommodation.
Prices at Woodrow started from £280,000 for a one-bedroom apartment. All apartments have now sold, with 21 out of the 23 homes being purchased by first time buyers. All apartments were available through the London Help to Buy scheme.
Best Large Development – Union Park, Woolwich
Set along the Grand Union Canal, Union Park is an exclusive development of 251 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments in West Drayton, west London. The new homes boast views over the water and surrounding neighbourhood, while benefiting from close proximity to local amenities and transport links.
Available through the London Help to Buy scheme, prices at Union Park start from £225,000 for a studio apartment and £350,000 for a two bedroom. The apartments are being delivered over two phases, with 84 of the homes in the first phase purchased by first time buyers and 58 in the second phase so far.
Voting is now open, and the winners will be announced during the award ceremony taking place on Friday 26th April at The Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London.
